I call it The Career Clarity Code™️, and it's a three-step model designed to take you from feeling stuck and confused to feeling empowered and fulfilled.

Here's How It Works:
I’ll use each stage to mirror one of my favorite veggies: an onion 🧅.
This will help us better understand the model (while making it fun, but I promise I won’t make you “cry” 😉).
Stage 1 - Core Challenge 🎯

We'll dive deep into the heart of the challenge, exploring the problem, understanding its impact, and identifying the root causes. This is like getting a diagnosis before identifying the right treatment plan.
We'll ask questions like:
What's really going on here?
How is this challenge affecting you?
What are the underlying causes of this issue?
Stage 2 - Understanding ✏️

We then use visuals, whiteboarding, and storytelling to view the challenge from 360° and break it down, providing you with the knowledge and insights you need to see it from a fresh perspective or understand it from both ground zero and at 20,000 feet.
Stage 3 - Actions to Take 🥊

Finally, we explore actionable steps, strategies, and tools you can implement to overcome the challenge and achieve your goals. Consider these the steps to resolve your core challenge.
This learning model allows you to learn at your own pace, zooming into the areas that are most relevant to your needs.
Depending on your learning style and preferences, you can also consume the content in segments or as a complete sequence.
I call this model The Clarity Code™ because it's designed to identify the true challenge, unlock your understanding, and empower you to take action.

My Discovery Story
I'll be honest; the Career Clarity Code™️ wasn't something I came up with overnight.
It's the culmination of years of experience, trial and error, and a deep passion for helping others achieve their career goals.
I remember when I first started my career, I felt so lost and overwhelmed about my compensation. I didn't know where to turn or who to ask for help.
There were many places that discussed negotiation, but there wasn’t an “easy” way or straightforward place to understand precisely how it worked or how to share it with Recruiters—and this coming from someone who was a Recruiter!
Like the wonderful nerd 🤓 that I am, I dove straight into understanding the architecture of the challenge, identifying the why (I had already earned the better pay, but wasn’t I receiving it from my current employer), and understanding the depth of the challenges that I was facing (which included not knowing how to ask for it). This is now what I define as Stage 1—Core Challenge 🎯.
Over the years following, I began to make a complete science of seeing how Candidates would ask for their expected compensation, what Hiring Managers would say in response to those asks, and what the HR or Comp Team would come back and confirm or veto. I would then sketch out the different scenarios, and in doing so, I started to observe deeper trends. I also started to understand what worked (and what definitely did not). I then built the framework of what you see here now of the Career Clarity Code™. This is what I define now as Stage 2 - Understanding ✏️ .
And here I am, in this post, sharing with y’all about what the model is, including how to put your inputs in and how to communicate the outputs to a Recruiter. And this is what I define now as Stage 3 - Actions to Take 🥊.
Once I started examining my philosophies and theories, I noticed they all had the same three parts.
Possibly, it’s how my brain works 🧠✨!
So, of course, I hopped in and organized it. And now, all releases of content and information here on my Substack (in posts) and on my YouTube channel (in videos) will also follow this 3-step model.

For you, as a seeker of information, you get to choose what’s best for you at any moment in time:
If you need to take quick action, Stage 3 - Actions to Take 🥊 is best
If you want to sort out precisely what the core challenge is and see if it’s similar to something you’re currently experiencing, I’d start with Stage 1 - Core Challenge 🎯
If you want to finally understand the challenge inside and out so that you can master it and leverage it for all the incredible things it provides you (in this example, you’d benefit from the best-in-market compensation all the time), then I’d dive into Stage 2 - Understanding ✏️
Or possibly you’re done struggling with this challenge and want to see it all the way through to move through it (instead of ignoring it or pushing it down). Then you’d read or consume the stages in sequential order (Stage 1, then Stage 2, and lastly Stage 3)
I made many mistakes along the way, but I also learned a lot.
And through it all, I discovered the power of clarity, the importance of taking action, and the transformative potential of community and support.
